Water Challenge Day

July 20, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Plans for today is:

Water Challenges

Our summer program is styled like a ‘field day’ that many schools hold. We divide the youth into teams, and have them go through a set of different water activities, each designed to promote teamwork. At the end of the activities loop, we have a lunch hour, where kids will eat the provided lunch and have time to make friends. Since our program is entirely outdoors, unless weather permits otherwise, our games are based on different kinds of physical activities.

Just One outdoor summer activities are designed to intrigue youth to collaborate with others in small social group activities. We provide opportunities for youth to work with friends, new and old, on fun games and projects intended to expand and develop the inner genius while also fostering creativity.

How it works:

You pick what days you want to attend, rather its every Monday, Wednesday and Fridays or only once a week, totally up to you! Time period is July 6th through August 26th, from 10 am to 1 pm every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

  • Register youth online under the calendar tab that says “Register For Summer Fun With Just One”
  • Drop-off is at 10 am
  • Pick-up is 1 pm
  • Groups will be made of 6 to 12 youth supervised by 2 instructors
  • Lunch, water, snacks all provided FREE
  • Supplies and materials also provided
  • Prizes to win everyday

Back Up for bad weather:

Get Air: Thousands of square feet of wall-to-wall trampolines to jump, bounce and flip for 2 hours of fun! A massive space that allows everyone to jump around.
You’ll find vertical trampolines, a trampoline dodgeball area and individual trampolines in the Main Court. Plus, trampoline lanes to get you some serious air to dunk a slamball!

Located: 4750 N Division St, Spokane, WA 99207

Reservations: Must be made for this field trip the day before, you will receive a reservation email the day before.

Bus: If on the list of needing transportation, you will receive a text message, email or call about the change in plans due to weather. If you are not on the pick up list for transportation and need transportation on a  day of change of plans please email, text or call to arrange transportation.

Back Back Up if bus does not work:

“Projects In A Bag”

All youth who register for Just One’s Summer Programs will be put on the delivery list for “Projects in a bag”.  “Projects in a bag” are just that, projects with instructions and material to do at home, dropped off on your porch, as we’ve done in the past during covid.

If you are not home, bags will be left on porch the day of canceling park event. There will not be a specific time of drop off as staff will have to put bags together that morning, plan route, split staff up to deliver by the end of the day.

SIDE NOTE:

  • If weather is bad we will transition to indoor
  • If the bus breaks down we will cancel any and all in-person events and move to “Project in a Bag” so all can be served
  • We will do our best to notify you the day before a switch in location or delivery
  • If registering online does not work out your welcome to show up and register in-person

Transportation and special needs accommodations are available but you need to let us know ahead of time! Email us at info@ifyoucouldsavejustone.org
